Two biotechnology students are innovating sustainable protein production. Our expertise in biotechnology, nutrition, chemistry and engineering is pushing the boundaries of innovation. Our goal: efficient and eco-friendly food production.
Our vision
Globally, there is an increase in demand for food, yet the efficiency with which food is produced is ultimately constrained by energy conversion efficiency. An enhancement in the energy efficiency of food production would facilitate the production of greater amounts of food with reduced consumption of resources.
Our solution
We are on a mission to transform protein production. By using renewable energy and cutting-edge technologies, we will tackle the global challenges of food insecurity and environmental degradation. Utilising clean electricity and innovative methods, such as microbial and lab-based protein synthesis, we will create efficient, scalable solutions. This approach ensures sustainable, reliable food systems while reducing environmental impact, creating resilient ecosystems on Earth and beyond!
